Anastasia Volochkova holds the titles of "Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation” and “The People’s Artist of the Republic of Karachaevo-Cherkesia”. At the age of 17 she was chosen to dance in the “Swan Lake” ballet.

In 1998, Volochkova received an invitation to work at the Russian Bolshoy Theatre. She debuted in Vladimir Vasiliev’s “Swan Lake”. After that, Anastasia played Nikia (“Bayaderka”, staged by Yuri Grigorovich), Raimonda (staged by Yuri Grigorovich), Lilac Fairy (“Sleeping Beauty”, staged by Yuri Grigorovich) Giselle (staged by Vladimir Vasiliev), Lady of Dryads and Kitri (“Don Quixote” choreographed by A.Gorskiy, staged by A. Fadeiechev). Anastasia Volochkova took part in Bolshoy Theatre tours to a number of European countries. During those years, she also started her own tours.

In autumn 1998, she accepted an invitation from Natalia Dudinskaya and worked in the staging of “Giselle” in Tokyo with the “New National Ballet” troupe. In December 2000, she danced with the “Ballet Bordeaux” (France) as Aurora in the premieres of “Sleeping Beauty” (staged by Charles Jude based on M. Petipa).

In spring 2000, Anastasia Volochkova took part in ballet competition at San-Poelten and won the “Golden Lion” prize. In 2001, she also received the "Petropol" award, and in 2002 she was awarded the "Benois de la Danse". In the following years, Anastasia was given the "Honourable Sign of Peter the Great”, as well as the international award "Golden Aquarius" and the "Lady Luxury" award.

At present, Anastasia performs solo programmes, most of the time for charity, and also takes part in various TV shows.
