The Kuskovo Estate In the past it was Count Peter Sheremetev’s country estate. It has an enormous wooden house, a lake in which the count put on staged sea battles for his guests, an open-air theatre, a greenhouse, a French park and a forest. Here you will get a wonderful impression of what it was like to live amongst the Russian aristocracy of the 18th Century
Tsaritsyno Tsaritsyno is an estate in the south-east of Moscow and an architectural-park ensemble in the style of neo-gothic architecture, built by V. I. Bazhenov and M. F. Kazakov. The estate was built for Ekaterina II as her residence near Moscow, but was never completed. It was only in 2007 that the building was finished with a mass reconstruction of the building and improvement of the land

The Moscow metro The Moscow metro comprises 277.9 km of railway, 12 lines and 172 stations (including the light metro). The very first station - Sokol'niki - was opened on May 15 1935, while the last one to be built - Mezhdunardonaya - was opened in 2006. Aleksandrovskii sad The Alexandrovskyi garden is next to the Kremlin's northern wall. It was founded in 1820 by the emperor Alexander the First to celebrate the fact of Russia’s deliverance from Napoleon. In the month of May of 1967 the “Memorial to the Unknown Soldier” has been erected here
Poklonnaya Mountain The Poklonnaya gora, or Victory Park – is a memorial park, between Kutuzovskii prospect and Minskaya street. It is 98 hectares big. Built in 1961 on the Poklonnaya gora, it's now part of the Russian Great patriotic war of 1941-45 Memorial
