After a triumphant reception in Paris, the exhibition “The Master and Margarita” is moving to Moscow. From 28 March, photographs illustrating scenes from the famous novel can be seen at Spiridonov House.
The “Master” of the project is photographer and artist Jean Daneil Lorieux, one of the most famous French fashion photographers, and a cavalier of the order of the Legion of Honor. His name is in the same rank as Helmut Newton and Guy Burden. Shooting for Vogue, Elle and L’Officiel, and large-scale advertising campaigns not only gave Lorieux invaluable experience, but wide recognition, and he became a celebrity himself. He is trusted by the great fashion houses of the world Dior, Nina Ricci, Courreges, Feraud, Lapidus, Mauboussin, Cartier, Céline and many others. For Lorieux, a photograph is as unique as a drawing or engraving.
