The festival of Japanese culture “The Paths to Perfections”

The festival of Japanese culture “The Paths to Perfections” will take place in Moscow's State Tretyakov Gallery (Krymskiy val) between the 19th and the 21st of September, 2008.

The idea behind the festival is to bring together under one roof most of what we associate with national Japanese culture. The festival unites different aspects of applied arts, traditional Japanese cuisine and cultural and entertaining events.

Programme for the festival includes: Japanese food sampling, national music, exhibitions, master-classes, performances by representatives of martial art schools and a retrospective of Japanese films. Guests will learn about the science of origami, become geishas or take part in tea drinking ceremonies.
