The Russian Open Golf Championship

The Russian Open Golf Championship 2008 will be taking place at the only 18-hole golf course in Russia Le Méridien Moscow Country Club, from July 24 till 27, 2008. The course, designed by the renowned golf-architect Robert Trent Jones the Younger, is situated not far from Moscow and is one of the 10 best courses in Europe and one of the 50 best ones in the world. In 2006, The Russian Open was acknowledged by the plenipotentiary tournament the PGA European Tour, which is one of the two most important international tournaments of professional golf.
