The theatre’s ancestor is the Raikina Theatre, which was founded in 1939. In 1981 the theatre moved to Moscow, and a large group of young people, lead by Arkadii Raikin’s son, Konstantin, joined the troop. Raikin the elder died in 1987. In the foundations of the theatre Konstantin Raikin built a new theatre: “Satirikon”. Repertoire: “Richard III”, “Kvartet” (“Quartet”), “Chanteclaire”, “Strana lyubvi” (“Country of love”).
